Alexandrine Van Duijn is a French painter and sculptor, and was born in Paris.
She has experienced six periods of creation.
The first period is impressionism, she painted with a brush, when she was 4 years old as her father did. 1970- 1974 she was student of Salvador Dali, Spanish, master of surrealism. She became an artist painter. She was also the great German graver Hans Friedlander student in engraving.
The-second period is from 1978 to 1989, her High-reliefs made with her new medium creation that was in USA.
The third period is from 1990 to 1993, she followed symbolism with palette knife.
The fourth period is front 1994 to 1996, she leaded purification of colors and forms with palette knife
The fifth period is from 1997 to 2000, she expressed nature’s realm with palette knife and a new colors harmony,
The sixth period started from 2001, she goes to abstraction with palette knife and established the creation of her own style-Fractal style.
It is the start of her sculptures in resin with a purified design.
